This blog was born from a slightly insane, ever exciting love story involving an American girl and an Argentine boy, both far away from home, who met just one year ago on a rugby pitch.
As crazy as this all sounds, it gets even crazier. Shortly after meeting, David told me he was leaving, and was most likely headed to Australia. With each moment we spent together, crazier plans were hatched until a year later we have gotten engaged (there were birds!), hiked to the top of a volcano in the Canary Islands (it was freezing!), gotten married in Gibraltar (there were apes!), started our Italian/Argentine-American family traditions of Pasta Sundays (bring on the cheese!) and secured Work Holiday Visas to discover Australia and ourselves starting in September 2016.
Before heading Down Under, we'll be making a pit-stop in Thailand. The trip is slowly coming together, but we're also getting married (again!) in Barcelona soon, and I'm still technically working in Madrid at my school for a few more days. This is the life of staying abroad 365 days a year!
